Nabatean Inscriptions from Khashm el Ferda

This site is close to el-Fuja and is a small hill with Nabatean inscriptions dating to the first and second centuries. It is composed of a series of large rocks bearing inscriptions as well as several petroglyphs. A very common petroglyph at many sites of the region is found frequently in Khashm el-Ferda; it is a drawing of a man riding a horse or a camel and holding a long stick in his hand, this design is found in Serabit el-Khadim as well.
