"Khedive Ismail" founded the "Orman Garden" in 1875 next to the "Giza Palace," inspired by the "Bois de Boulogne." The garden housed rare plants like the Egyptian lotus and the sequoia, was scientifically divided by plant type, and contained over 1,000 species. Today, it annually hosts the "Spring Flower Show."
