In the city of Al-Ashmunayn in Minya Governorate, the priest "Petosiris" documented the history of five generations, from the late periods of ancient Egypt until the arrival of the Greeks in Egypt. The tomb of "Petosiris" is considered a pictorial and written record and was a sacred pilgrimage site for the Greeks, which attests to his high status among them. The tomb is proof that history is not erased, but remains preserved.
