One of the two obelisks from the "Luxor Temple" was transported to Paris to be erected in the "Place de la Concorde" as a symbol of science and culture. The journey took about 8 years and involved building a special ship named "Luxor," at a cost of 263,000 francs. It is worth noting that about 23 obelisks were moved from Egypt at different times to several countries, including: Rome, Paris, London, Turkey, and the United States.
