"Napoleon" was not the first to include scientists in his campaigns; he was preceded by the Egyptian king "Thutmose III" of the "Eighteenth Dynasty," who led 17 successful campaigns. "Thutmose III" was not only a brilliant military commander but also a nature enthusiast. He ordered his scholars to document the plants and animals they observed during his campaigns. Upon his return to Egypt, he recorded these discoveries in the "Botanical Chamber" at the "Karnak Temples." The walls were adorned with precise and colorful drawings, making him the first botanical documentarian in Egyptian history.
