He was the first Egyptian professor of Egyptology at Cairo University. He faced early challenges in his life, studied in Paris, and initiated the "Egyptization" movement after realizing the value of Egyptian heritage. He led excavations on the "Giza Plateau" and wrote the encyclopedia "Ancient Egypt." After the "1952 Revolution," he headed the mission to document the monuments of Nubia and contributed to their rescue project with "UNESCO."
