The "Al-Zohriya Garden" was established in the heart of "Zamalek Island" during the development of Khedivial Cairo under "Khedive Ismail," supervised by French gardeners "Dechamps" and "Delchevalerie." It was the first station for acclimatizing foreign plants in Egypt and included greenhouses and an experimental center. Although its area has shrunk to build the "Cairo Tower" and the "Faculty of Physical Education" on its land, it still contains trees that are over 100 years old.
